Dr. Scott Wottrich graduated from Wittenberg University with a double major in biology and English. He received his Medical Doctor degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He then completed a Medical/Surgical Internship at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Subsequently he moved to Atlanta and completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Emory University School of Medicine and went on to complete a Neuroradiology Fellowship at University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Health Systems. He is a board-certified radiologist with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in neuroradiology. Dr. Wottrich has an interest in CT and MRI applications involving the head and neck, brain, and spinal cord, as well as interest in advanced MRI techniques such as spectroscopy, advanced stroke imaging, and functional MRI.
Dr. Wottrich joined Quantum Radiology in 2004. He has served on the Quantum Radiology board since 2014 and is currently serving as Vice President. Dr. Wottrich is the elected Chief of Staff of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital Regional Medical Center with term starting January 1, 2021. He was previously the Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Kennestone Medical Executive Committee. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology, and American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology. His personal interests include photography, traveling, golf, mountain climbing, and spending time with his family.
